Another great day for fishing on our secluded little lake. It's not about whether you'll catch one, but how many you can catch and release in an hour! #largemouthbass #rvcamping #fishingfun #lazyrockresort
Our showers are now open for all of you that have been waiting for the announcement! We still have some tent sites left throughout the summer but our RV sites are becoming extremely limited. You can check each site's calendar availability at lazyrock.ca under the camping menu item or all availability by date on the reservations page. Happy camping :)
These folks have been through quite a bit over the past year, and we are just so thankful that we could give them a little reprieve from their stress. It's okay to cry a little when your guests say such beautiful things, right? <3
Happy Canada Day Everyone! One of our funtastic guests has provided us with some adorable entertainment! Chippy vs Dino 2020 - Who will reign supreme? =P
Way to go Suzette! This largemouth bass weighed in at 4.5 lbs! This was the largest recorded of many fish caught by our amazing guests this weekend. Many people practice catch and release which helps to ensure a great fishing experience for all, so this beauty is back in the lake waiting for the next person to snag her.
Happy Father's Day to all you dads and father figures out there! Camping is a great way to create new family memories and spend quality time with your loved ones. #camping #getoutside #fathersday #lakelife
We hope you all are enjoying this beautiful weather and doing whatever it is that adds a little peace and serenity to your world.
Thank you all for such an amazing camping season! We started the year not knowing if we would even be able to open and ended up with our busiest year to date! So many guests from all over the province who had no idea how beautiful Ontario really is, got to fully embrace northern life swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, atving and anything else their imaginations allowed in the great outdoors. We feel so blessed to be in this industry during these times where fresh air and ex...ercise are more sought after than trendy purchases and lavish vacations and we will continue to put our everything into ensuring that you all have the best possible experience with us for years to come. Thank you again for all your love and support and we hope to see you all back out here next year. Reservations can be made January 1, 12:01am for the 2021 season on our website at www.lazyrock.ca. Sending out good vibes to you and yours... <3 Charisma & Jon xo
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Some of our guests enjoyed a deep fried turkey and others filled their cheeks with nuts. However you spent your weekend, we hope it was a great one!
We're so happy with our new highway sign! The day our blue #tods signs went up was a very exciting day for us; we felt like our vision was becoming a reality. Ontario marked-up the cost by almost 500% this past year so we decided to opt out and put up our own highway sign! :D Thank you so much to Stef and Sue from All Angles Framing for bringing our vision to life with high standards and professionalism, and Les at Novack Sand & Gravel for his impeccable excavating work as always. We couldn't be happier and we think this sign is is far nicer than the blue sign anyway. What do you all think?
Summer weather has gone, but there's still time to make precious camping memories. Marvel at a gorgeous sunrise, go for a hike, enjoy a hot beverage by the fire or gaze up at the stars. However you choose to spend your time, always remember to rest, relax & recharge. Thank you Julia Bright Photographer for the beautiful photos, it was such a pleasure having you stay with us and we hope to see you back in the fall. :)
These boys hold the new record of 28 fish caught (and released) in 2 hours and had the photos to prove it! Nice work guys, was a pleasure having you stay with us and hopefully next time the weather will cooperate. :P
