Rejoicing with 15 year old Ethan who trusted Christ over the phone about a week and a half ago. He was in town visiting his mom today and we arranged for him to obey the Lord in baptism while he was here. Happy for you Ethan!! Praise the Lord!

Enjoyed a wonderful 23rd Anniversary Sunday. Covid stipulations keep us back from several anniversary celebration activities but it did not keep us back from worshipping and praising the Lord for the great things HE has done. Happy 23rd Anniversary LBC. We love and apppreciate you all!

Out soul winning tonight, God put a follow up visit on my heart. Bro Russell and Pastor paid a visit to some boys who visited TEENS ALIVE last year. Tonight we meet their dad too, and dad and both his 16 and 12 year old sons accepted Christ as their Saviour!! Praise the Lord! Let us all seek to faithfully throw out the lifeline and preach the gospel to every creature!!

Church Family....please make special effort to be to church by 9:50 am for 10 am service start! We are excited to have Pastor & Mrs LeRoy Pennell as our guests tomorrow. Light luncheon to follow service!! Please be on time!!

So tonight at Bible Study while preaching on Discipleship and investing in people, I made the well known statement of "How do you spell love....T-I-M-E. Spending time with those we are discipling is showing love. On the way home my wife told me, remember when you asked us "How do you spell love?" She then told me she leaned over to Savannah and whispered T-I-M-S. Tim Horton's ice cap has stolen my wife's heart away! Guess I'll be off to Tim's in the morning to show her my love!!!

Blessed with a great start to our anniversary weekend services. Focused attention on a Youth Service tonight with just under 20 young people present. Had the John Jupp Family sing and Bro John preached. Some of our church family also attended. It was a blessing to be together in the house of the Lord!!

Praising the Lord for 3 souls saved through soul winning efforts this week. One lead to Christ over the phone, one a neighbour we have been praying for 2 doors down, and one the dad of one of our TEENS ALIVE young people. God is still in the soul saving business, let's be faithul in the soul winning business!!

Please read and pray for our dear friend Pastor Cam Payne. Please note his following message below.... Dear Praying Friends, Please pray for my adopted dad, Fred Payne. ... His time on this earth is short. He has cancer all throughout his body. I was able to see him yesterday and am hoping to get to see him on Sunday. I've attached a picture of me and him from yesterday. He has lost 1/2 of his body weight in 2 weeks. Dad isn't eating anything but pudding. (And that isn't much) Please pray that he will make it to Sunday. My daughters and I are planning to go. For now he knows who I am but is asking for and is seeing my mother who passed away 4 years ago. In 1995, while at Hyles-Anderson College, I was able to lead him to the Lord over the phone.

Please be reminded that there is No Wednesday Evening Service tonight. Instead we will be holding a service this Friday evening.
