The Little Current Fish & Game Club will be holding field trips for three days(May 1st - 3rd) for the Grade 4 classes from all Manitoulin public schools. The event takes place at White Haven Resort, at the mouth of Bass Lake Stream. It will run from May 1st until the 3rd. Any high school student needing volunteer hours can contact Bill Strain ( 368-0845 ) if you would like to help out. ... Thank you/Miigwech

Bass Lake Creek * Almost that time of the year for the school kids to come by and learn all about the trap net & hatchery, walleye populations, spawning, different species, and so much more! Great learning experience!

While the students are at the Walleye hatchery in Sheguiandah, they observe fish being removed from the trap net, the fertilization procedure, bass net building, Manitoulin fossils, fish and animal mounts, aquatic life forms, plus so much more! Each year, every student recieves a fishing rod and reel from the Club.
