Public Skates this holiday weekend and beyond!

No Swim Lessons thanksgiving weekend! Just a reminder to all of our friends that there are no weekend swim lessons on Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11th. Those of you with lessons on Saturday and Sunday, will resume your lessons next weekend! However, we are open every day for swimming and we also have some great skates this weekend. ... Come on out and have some fun!

Friday October 9, 2020 The Aquatic Centre will have a delayed opening Friday October 9, 2020 due to maintenance. We will open at 7:30 am. Therefore, there will be no members only swim from 6:30 - 7:30 am.

Announcing new Yoga Class! Beginner Iyengar Yoga Tuesdays: 6:30pm Starts: Oct 13, 2020... Instructor: Elizabeth Kingsland LCLC All-Inclusive Member: no cost Non-member: $10 drop-in (10 visit pass - $70) Iyengar Yoga focuses on precise alignment of the body in asana (classical hatha yoga poses). Stretching exercises improve flexibility, while strengthening exercises tone muscles. Balancing poses improve balance and posture. All poses teach awareness of the whole body, with emphasis on correct breathing, correct posture of the spine, and working within your own capacity. Classes include guided relaxation to teach the mind and body to release stored tension. Space is limit. Call ahead (902-530-4100) to book your spot!

Public skates are back, Recreational swims are back, Swim lessons are going on, and we still have our discounted membership rates so its a great time to get active at the LCLC

We are starting up our public skates - starting tomorrow October 2nd! We have Parent & Tot from 10 - 11, Adult from 12 - 1 and Homeschool Family Skate from 1:15 - 2:15 pm. We also have full public skates from 5:00 - 6:15 on both Friday and Saturday nights over the next couple of weeks.
