Today we would like to do a send-off for Mr. Ness, our caretaker, who has been at LCS for the last couple years. He has been the person to move desks and chairs, shovel the sidewalks, cut the grass, and generally, keep LCS a clean and safe place for our students and staff. We wish Mr. Ness well on his future endeavours, and would like to say THANK YOU for all his service at the Eagle’s Nest.
We have extended the ordering deadline for yearbooks. Please submit your orders by Thursday, April 1.
Last April we had plans to recognize and celebrate student achievement at LCS through an awards ceremony. The pandemic took over and we never got a chance to get this off the launch pad. This year we’ve decided to go ahead with recognizing our students - in a virtual, Covid friendly manner - on April 29th. Awards will given for all aspects, including academics, athletics, the arts, and leadership. More details to come...

It was a magical moment in Pre-K when Santa Claus came to drop off a present for all the boys and girls. For the month of December the Pre-K classroom was transformed into The Polar Express. On December 17th Santa Claus came to give each child a special gift like the boy in the story: a bell from Santa's sleigh. As the saying goes "The bell still rings for those who truly believe".
The Outdoor Rink is up and running for the season. A HUGE shoutout once again to the Langenburg Fire Department for flooding the ice. Please read over the ODR general rules and Covid Regulations. Thanks.
Christmas cheer throughout the elementary hallway.
