It’s a beautiful Saturday when you get to officiate the wedding between two wonderful people that just want to get married. They’ve been together for years and because of what is happening in their lives right now, they just want to get married. It was perfect! People talk about destination weddings and how beautiful they are. I have to say that our very own province is absolutely gorgeous. I am so blessed to be part of Pete and Melissa’s big day, here in beautiful Parry Sound. The location of this cottage didn’t even have a road name, just a private drive that took us Tiffany and I down to this absolutely gorgeous place where these two tied the knot. Waking up this morning feeling unbelievably grateful. Not just because I woke up but because as I look back and realize how honoured I am to do what I do...being able to join couples together in all ways. Some in big venues, some so intimate right in their living room, and some even in hospital rooms before their first child arrived. The life long relationships that have been created is another thing I’m so grateful for. I hope you guys are having an amazing day and if your get a chance, take a minute and think about what your grateful for and I promise it’ll make you smile. Happy Hump Day friends. LD

It’s been a great morning already. Breakfast with a good friend, then get the privilege of marrying a couple.
