I am so proud of this strong, intelligent young woman. Andrea Antonio, a student from the country of Mauritius, is in my Community Leadership course at Saint Mary's University Halifax. As an applied course focusing on leading real social change, she decided her focus would be to try to build momentum toward establishing the first-ever food bank in her home country, where there is a need but no such resource ever created. She recorded this video in her native language of Creol...e, as one part of her leadership campaign, and in a few short days it has been viewed over 6000 times. She has also been working to inspire many people with direct communication and is seeing significant possibilities developing. This is why I have such a passion for developing leadership skills in our young people.
