At our December 2020 afternoon challenge day, Marielle Gauthier facilitated Power Up Your Path For Leadership Success Part 2. Leaders explored how their core values and strengths aligned with their purpose and vision statements and how these statements can support them as leaders. Thank you Marielle for a wonderful day of reflection and self-discovery. Well done Class of 2021 for showing up, reflecting and taking what you needed from this session.

December 2020 Virtual Challenge Day - in our morning session, our leaders were facilitated through the Open Space Technology Process by Diane Fletcher and Carolyn Hoessler as they formed their learning teams. Diane & Carolyn nicknamed the process Chaos with Boundaries. We are grateful & thankful to Diane & Carolyn for their efforts to make this process seem easy and seamless online. We are appreciative of our Class of 2021 leaders for being open-minded and adaptive to this on...line endeavour. What is the learning team process, you may wonder? It is an integral part of our Leadership Program. The focus of the learning team process is to provide leaders with the opportunity to work together in teams to understand a given community issue. The intent of the learning team experience is for them to stretch their own leadership capabilities, while supporting and challenging each other in a safe team environment. Community topics are intentionally ambiguous and are intended to reproduce some of the uncertainty that leaders face when tackling big issues (e.g. Covid). Change and evolution will be a constant as the learning team process unfolds. This may feel uncomfortable, but it allows our leaders the opportunity to lean into the discomfort and practice taking some risks to develop their leadership capacity; while being supported by their team. Each team has a learning team coach to help support and guide them through the learning team process.
