Names: Jake Breed: Blue Lacey Age: 1.5 years old Problems: Dog reactivity, Recall, kangaroo legs, nose to the ground puller, super high energy at the front door... Jake was a rescue, and as with all rescues, you never know what you’re really getting into. His owners had him for 3 months and needed a bit of guidance in setting Jake up for success. Being a hunting dog, his instincts are always at 100%. Although friendly, he was triggered by bikes, skateboards, SUV’s and other dogs; not to mention that he pulled like a steam engine. I worked diligently with his owners to execute the proper corrections to avoid reactivity. We set front entrance boundaries and built their confidence to fit that of Jake’s. I introduced proper Recall training so he can be off leash with no insecurities. We put together a structured walk so Jake knew where his place was. He’s well on his way to being the amazing, friendly, loving boy that we all know he can be. Well done Jordan and Philip! Names: Reilly & Hattrick Breed: Weimaraners Age: 1.75 years Problems: Dog reactivity, pulling, kangaroo legs, zero boundaries and an abundance of energy... These two handsome fellas are in a league of their own. Their owner was so frustrated with the walks, the leash reactivity and the jumping. She reached out to me because she no longer trusted them at the dog park, couldn’t walk them and people couldn’t visit the home because the boys would be all over them at the front door. We worked a lot on adding structure to their walks, boundaries at the front door, settling when visitors came and how to manage their energies. These boys are now well on their way to doggy #nhl. They’re back at the dog park, the walks are more enjoyable and their owner is brimming with confidence. Don’t be afraid even, if you feel you’re out of your comfort zone. Regain the confidence to be that calm, assertive leader that your dogs need. #dogtrainer #dogtraining #weimaraner #leadingallpacks #smallbusiness #k9training #packleader #dogtrainingtips #dogtrainingadvice Turning owners into pack leaders and dogs into man’s best friend

A dogs reactivity isn’t always directed solely at other dogs. Triggers can be any and everything. A reactive dog is a stressed out dog. Help your dog focus and relax by providing the right type of direction and support. Add structure to your walks and set expectations. There’s nothing that a dog enjoys more than pleasing it’s owner. Be the park leader you’ve always wanted to be. Call to book your consultation now.

I really enjoy what I do The type of owner that you are at the start of the leash is just as important as the dog that’s at the end of that leash. Be the lack leader your dog deserves. Call now to book your consultation. Turning owners into pack leaders and dogs into man’s best friend

Name: Joker(Jou Jou) Breed: Boston Terrier/Bulldog mix Age: 20 months old Problem: Reactive to other dogs, level 7 puller, level 8 barker, extremely insecure and owns the front door... Chance encounters can be life changers sometimes. When I met the owner, Joker was in her arms. She was so afraid that he was going to attack my dog that she picked him up.....I could see her frustration and I could feel her despair. We had a conversation where I offered some simple advice and soon we were working together. She realized that her actions, or lack thereof, manifested into Joker being reactive on their walks and barking nonstop when visitors came. She couldn’t enjoy a meal without being clawed to pieces because Joker wanted her and everything that she had. She felt at her wits end..... things had to change. 4 sessions, simple instructions, added structure and a calm assertive, yet positive approach resulted in a very overdue, loving relationship. Now there’s love rather than resentment, respect more than reward and structure rather than sorrow..... and you can see how proud Joker is of himself. There’s always hope when you feel like giving up. Dogs: Zoey and Herman Breed: Portuguese Water Dog/Rescue Age: 2.5/7+ Problem: Reactive to other dogs/people, anxiety, socially awkward, no boundaries within the home, horrible of walks(pulling)... These loveable dogs were emotional messes. Zoey was Non-trusting, socially awkward, reactive, terrible on walks and offered nothing but too much love. Herman was super protective of his owner and had already not someone last year. He didn’t trust other dogs and was constantly coddled, especially around other dogs. What’s wrong with lots of love you, and an over protective dog who’s coddled to bits? No boundaries, no structure, no leadership, no direction and no self confidence; which led to all of the the problems noted above. I met the owner at the dog park where her anxious and reactive energies not only fed into her dogs negative states, it also often manifested negative encounters with people and other dogs. Through numerous sessions(and lockdowns) of confidence building, structured walks and setting boundaries within the home, we now have two very confident, well behaved, non-reactive and welcoming dogs. Their owner is now brimming with pride and willing to put herself in situations where she would shy away from prior. She’s now a take charge, correct when needed, confident dog mom who’s at the front of the pack; where she belongs. You may think that it’s too late to change your position in the pack front back to front, but your dogs will thank you for giving them exactly what they need. Great job Stephanie! Dog: Lassie Breed: Shitzu Age: 4 Problem: Was dominated by a big dog when she was a puppy leaving her reactive to all dogs.... Wanting to take back ownership of Lassie, I worked with her owner to add structure to her walks, taught her to recognize the onset of behaviour and to correct when necessary. 3 sessions later and it’s a whole new world for both. Never give up on your dogs, or yourself. Always remain calm and always be assertive #dogtrainer #dogtraining #k9training #leadingallpacks #smallbusiness #dogsofdurhamregion #doglover Turning owners into pack leaders and dogs into mans best friend

Getting to work with this gentle but loving dog on his 3rd home at 6.5 years old shows that it’s never too late. His lack of trust, feisty attitude, passive aggressive nature and separation anxiety made his owner nervous and anxious, but determined to win him over. This sweet boy needed love but also boundaries; and being a rescue, he didn’t trust easily. Seeing him progress from reactive to passive is what puts a smile on my face. Seeing his owner come into her own and find her confidence......that’s the best! Build your confidence so your dog can have theirs #dogtraining #dogtrainer #leadingallpacks #peopletrainer #smallbusiness #greatdanesofinstagram Turning owners into packs leaders and dogs into man’s best friend

Meet Luna, the 11 month old Rottweiler-Husky cutie. Her family had her in puppy classes but the results didn’t pan out. Her mother suffered from a lack of confidence, way too much love and zero boundaries within the home. Luna’s excitement and high energy made her a handful on walks, reactive to other dogs and a terror at home for the family. Through positive reinforcement, setting boundaries, socialization and a focus on building up her moms confidence; Luna is now the bell...e of the ball. Her family now enjoys downtime peacefully, walks, dog park visits and a well mannered, respectful dog. Hard work and consistency isn’t easy, but the results can’t be argue. Connect with your dog while centering your own energy.....it’s everything. #dogtraining #dogtrainer #humantrainer #leadingallpacks #smallbusiness Turning owners into pack leaders and dogs into man’s best friend

This is Finley. He’s an affectionate, handsome, rugged, 7 month old who loves meeting new people and other dogs. He’s not shy so when he’s excited, that bark is the equivalent to Barry White. He’s also extremely strong and thought that pulling was a daily competition. His parents, being retired, needed help and reached out to me. We worked on the following: - Leash etiquette - Door Manners - Sit, Stay, Wait... - Heel - Leave It - Down - Controlling the puppy excitement when meeting other dogs, puppies and people - Maintaining control in real world experiences - Being a leader for Finley After 4 weekly sessions, he’s well on his way to being the good boy that his parents imagined when they got him. He’s much calmer, controlled, walks nicely and most of all, listens when directed. His parents now understand what it takes when you get a new puppy and as such have adjusted their roles to being his pack leader. Often times we forget what puppies are like, and as such, underestimate the requirements, the necessary boundaries and the overall challenges that they bring. Don’t be taken by surprise, reach out and get the help you need. It’s best for you and more importantly, it’s what your dog needs. You only get out of your dog what you put into them. Great job Ken and Mary Ann! Turning owners into pack leaders and dogs into mans best friend

Meet Stormi, the adventurous 6.5 month old Siberian Husky. Her owner Michelle reached out to me when she was 14 weeks old. Michelle wanted help with the following: - Potty Training - Leash etiquette - Nipping... - Jumping - Off-leash hiking - Recall - Crate Training - Confidence building - Establishing herself as the Pack Leader - Bonding Huskies are an amazingly challenging breed to own and even more challenging to train. Michelle was ready to do whatever it took to achieve the ideal husky with none of the typical husky behaviour. She worked tirelessly on all commands and executed the plan that I designed for her to the letter. She hikes off-leash with no worries. Recall is superb and she respects her home like no other. The bond that has been created between Stormi and Michelle is amazing. Michelle has her respect and her attention, all the time. I always say that you only get out of your dog what you put into them and Michelle has put the work in. Way to control the Storm(i) Michelle, take those compliments like a badge of honour. It was a pleasure to see you both grow and bond. Excellent job! Turning owners into pack leaders and dogs into mans best friend
