A quick tip for all you vessel owners of 1000hp or more that go through ship safety every five years.Do not allow chains to be used to handle your prop. The steel from the chain gets rubbed off and gets impregnated into the propeller in the worst possible spot and begins to rust causing a crack to form.your govt. Knows this and makes me prove this is not happening to your prop.
