Story time - a few months ago, our fearless leader Jeremy placed the words 'DUE DATE' on the calendar on November 17th, as if he were scheduling the day his new son would enter the world. We all had a little chuckle and said....ok, sure... plan all the recordings, video shoots and work around Nov 17th. We all love a well organized plan, but that little baby did not want to wait. Like the little director or producer we know he is going to be he changed the plans and on November 4th, little baby Andrew joined the Leaf Music family! Congrats to Jeremy, Carrie and proud big brother Thomas!

We love to see that music is returning to events. Whether in physically distanced settings or online. Stick&Bow have tapped into this new online format by creating new performance videos. We can't wait to share the debut recording from Saman Shahi-Artist Page on September 25. The album includes three song cycles, two of which are based on poetry by women from across the globe. The title cycle, Breathing in the Shadows tells stories of oppression through alienation, resistance, and self-actualization. Resonating with many communities that historically have lived through the experiences of these struggles, the poems have an inherent musicality, evocative imagery, and a powerful message of unity and hope. https://leaf-music.lnk.to/LM237
