With the nice weather finally here everyone is looking to get their yards cleaned up and ready to enjoy for the summer. Unfortunately, I have taken on a new full time position so I won't be able to take on as many yards as I have in the past. My openings have now all been booked up for this spring season. I just wanted to share this post as I am still receiving many calls during the day and unable to answer or return any of them as I am working my other job. I will try to return calls in the evenings to explain the situation but I hope most of you will see this post and will understand the situation. Thank you

Hello everyone. This is a post I've been meaning to write for awhile but has been hard to actually do. In April it will be the start of my 7th season with League Lawn Care but I'm sad to say it will only be as a side/part time job for myself. I am talking with former employees and coming up with a plan to take over the full time maintenance aspect of the business. With their help we plan to still continue providing Spring Cleanups (power raking, power vac, aerating and other... yard maintenance) in the spring. Ongoing maintence throughout the spring and summer (grass cutting, fertilizing, yard cleanups, and garbage hauling) I will focus my time on ensuring the contracts I have obtained over the last 6 years are taken care of but any new contracts will be cared for by the experienced employees taking over for me. I will also still provide sprinkler repair throughout the year and sprinkler blowouts in the fall. This change has occurred because I have accepted a position with the City of Martensville. Every winter I have offered snow removal with League Lawn Care as well as seeked out full time employment else where for the winter. This winter was different, I passed on most of my snow contracts to another company and set out to find just a full time job for the winter. I spent November and December applying for jobs. I applied with the City of Martensville with the intention that if I was hired I would make that my career moving forward. On Christmas eve I was offered a position with the City and I started on January 7th. I feel like I hit the jackpot with this position. I was hired to maintain the Martensville Athletic Pavillion aka the MAP and the North Ridge Center. I set up for all types of sporting events and activites as well as maintaining the building in between. I get to interact with people of all ages throughout the day while being in a sporting environment while doing it. As hard as it to step back from League Lawn Care it is also made easier knowing that I have made a great decision for my family and future as well as being lucky enough to get the position that I did. I apologize to the customers that I hadn't been able to get to in the past 6 years but I move on knowing that I gave 100% of everything I could everyday. Thank you everyone for your support!
