Small detail. . . The smallest little details add so much. Last year I added this rivet tags to my toques, before I used rivets I hand sewed all the tags onto the toques. Not only does this make the tag more secure but it also saves me a lot of time. While a couple mins here and there might not seem like much but when you are tagging 100+ items it adds up fast! .... . . . . . Beliefs and Morals . . In my business and my personal life I try my best to reduce the amount of waste I generate. I believe we need to protect the planet. One of the ways I try to reduce waste in my business is by reusing all my yarn scraps. I save the longer pieces to be used when I play yarn chicken and lose. .... I save the smaller pieces to be used as stuffing in my pumpkins. Fun fact you ordered so many pumpkins last fall that I used up all the yarn scraps I had saved up, which was a lot! . While I purchase boxes for shipping now, I still try to reuse some. A great tip for reusing boxes is to flip them inside out! That way they still look great, you can line the inside with Kraft paper and it still looks professional! . . Another belief I share between my business and personal life is to always be kind. . . . . . Let’s do a Monday check in. How have you been feeling lately? To be honest the brutal cold snap we just went through had me feeling a bit off. I think it was a combination of missing seeing friends and family and being stuck inside due to the extreme cold. . It’s amazing how much my mood has improved with the warmer temperatures!
