https://www.ted.com//sharon_horesh_bergquist_how_stress_af Anyone who has known me for even a short period of time will know that I am a huge proponent of mental health. Little tidbit-I have a Psychology (hons.) degree, which makes me a little over-the-top passionate about looking at the whole person and educating my clients about the strong relationship between our brains and our bodies and perhaps more specifically, pain. (Disclaimer-information I share is strictly scientifically, and therefore empirically-based. However, never will I declare myself to be an expert, nor purport to have the qualifications to council anyone. We'll leave that to psychologists and psychiatrists who have dedicated their academic careers to being specialists in this area). This video is one that breaks down the physiological aspect of stress.
