See what I mean about massages being fun?! We had my little lady on a trampoline to test balance, strength, coordination & flexibility. It challenged her in ways the table & floor cannot! (She crushed it btw). I’ve been loving my trampoline lately. What a great tool!

These little grins are my favourite Knees to chest is better than bicycles and I will fight this fight foreverrrrr haha! Try this move if babe is struggling to poop or pass gas. Hold their thighs (not feet or shins, it puts too much pressure on their knees) and bend at the waist and bring their knees into the chest! Here, you can rock side to side or make some clockwise circles with their knees, movement and mobilization is so helpful! My left hand is holding a bit more p...ressure on the belly, specifically where he was holding some gas. If you’re a visual learner and that ^ made no sense- check out my IGTV post from last March for an entire homecare routine! See more

People are always surprised to know how important it is for me to work on babies heads! Infant heads are sensitive, and the techniques must be incredibly gentle, slow, and controlled. This work is typically used for: healing from birth trauma (the use of forceps, a vacuum or manual manipulation), tethered oral tissue dysfunction (before or after revisions), teething pain, colic symptoms, torticollis, plagiocephaly (flat head) regulating sleep patterns, headaches (yes babies get headaches! Often!) and sooo much more. This is my demo model to explain to parents what I’m doing, and to show them effective and appropriate homecare! Is it creepy or cute?

Your baby probably won’t lay on the table the entire treatment, and honestly they may not even lay there for 2 minutes. AND THATS OKAY! Everything that I can do during their session can be done in my arms, bouncing on a yoga ball, or walking around. Their comfort and consent is my #1 priority! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it a million times over: I will never ever work through tears or upset!

Cupping & Breastfeeding For the past year I have been using cupping to resolve & improve breastfeeding issues, and I am obsessed with the results. I have seen it increase milk supply, get rid of blebs, decrease the occurrence of clogged ducts, aid in healing mastitis, relieve muscular discomfort. ... Fascia is a sensitive and thin layer of connective tissue that surrounds everything in your body, holding everything together. Restrictions in this tissue cause tension, compression and dehydration. Pregnancy and childbirth (vaginal or cesarean) are huge causes for restrictions within the fascia. Cupping is a great way to perform Myofascial Release, to break up that restriction and allow for better flow of lymph and blood throughout the body! In turn, of course, helping with those common issues. Cupping is not the only way to provide myofascial release (even though it’s my favourite way) so if the cups freak you out- we have other options! Are you struggling with any issues I’ve talked about today? If so, shoot me a message. There is no upcharge for adding cupping to your massage appointment! Also, disclaimer; I do not directly cup the breast tissue. (All evidence presented is purely anecdotal)

I don’t only work on jaws and tummies! I noticed during his assessment that he was really favouring using his right arm to reach and grab for all his toys. I found some tightness under his left scapula & after only two treatments we noticed HUGE improvements. So proud of him and I love that smile!!

stop doing your baby’s aggressive post revision stretches If they’re causing discomfort or upset for your baby OR YOU, this is your sign. The trauma is not worth the stretch. ... Bringing baby to breast, often, will stretch the tissue comfortably. Baby putting their fingers and hands in their mouth, will challenge the tissue within their tolerance levels. Forced stretches (especially from your dentist that tells you to rip the tissue apart if you see it closing...ew) will create scar tissue. Scar tissue does not mean productive healing. The trauma of holding your baby down to perform these stretches can cause oral aversions creating issues down the road. Also please stop paying professionals to do the stretches (but that’s a whole other story!) If your baby tolerates, or enjoys the stretches, do them! Absolutely. But so often (daily) I have parents coming in, close to tears, telling me how bad they feel doing them... if this is you, just stop. Listen to your intuition and trust your gut. I have a plethora of gentle exercises you can do! Maybe I’ll make a video soon. (Also photo is pre-mask mandates)
