You know the cycle ..the one where you say you're going to commit to a healthier you and then when the weight doesn't come off fast enough like you think it should you give up?! Ya that cycle I will tell you that it won't happen overnight That you will falter, but the key, the secret is to KEEP GOING Isn't it time to up level your game on the commitment to you? I won’t apologize for how happy I am or for how good I feel and loving how my body looks right now! Because I have worked hard for it. And I will continue to do exactly that. Cause I am not even done- I will actually never be done- I am never going back to the self sabotaging woman I used to be- I like the new way I live my life so much more! Because this health thing is a lifestyle and yes... it is NOT about being a certain size to love yourself- BUT the reality is that you ...do FEEL better when your body is lighter- when you feel tight and toned and when your hubby tells you your ass looks great! And there is no shame in that game! Right????!!! I am not here to flaunt what I have done or where I am at- I am here to encourage you- I am here to let you know that I am 45 and was completely out of shape when I started. And that I did not get to this place overnight. And that I definitely did NOT do this alone. I am here to let you know that I freaking LOVE coaching my community and helping other amazing women take back their power and to help them find the time to love themselves enough to take care of themselves! So if that is you... take my hand sister- it’s time to start feeling better. DM me and let’s just start. I am going to be sore today after this workout- because I went up in my weights and I pushed hard- am I mad that I will be sore? Hello no! I will be proud that I showed up for myself today. I will be proud that I worked hard. I am so grateful to the group of women that show up with me in my virtual group, women that help to keep each other accountable and motivated. I know it is hard to start. But what is the other option? If you are not feeling amazing then you do NOT have another option- because you HAVE to fight for your health! And the best way to make sure you start your day off right is by sticking to a morning routine that makes you feel empowered and in control.... We all can make a choice to succeed. When I started this journey, my number 1 goal was to lose weight. I tried every darn damn fad there was, ony to star right back where I was because I didn't commit to a lifestyle. When the choice to commit to a lifestyle occurred, the change happened... Lifting weights will make me bulky! Umm,, nope.. there are many factors that can contribute to making you bulky when you lift weights. - diet... - progression - the weight of the weights But lifting weights in your 40s is a major player in fat loss. building muscle helps your body to burn fat As you progress over the age of 40, your body looses muscle mass and lifting weights will help you gain and retain muscles. It helps with your overall posture It helps to maintain your mood and energy levels it helps you... PERIOD! I have found that as I've aged, in seeing the best results has been a combination of lifting weights and cardio AND nutrition.. it's a holistic approach to your health.. especially as we get older!! No one cares that I finished another program... true.. I share to show you that an at home workout program is and can be challenging and life changing How many times have you seen quick fix solutions to drop 10, 15, 20 lbs in 30 days.. tempted to jump in that band wagon, but yet somehow you can't seem to commit to a lifestyle change that will literally change how you look and feel?!... You may not care and perhaps may roll your eyes that I have finished another program, but I show this, because I know what's possible if YOU JUST BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. isn't it time to believe in you? A journey towards your health all starts with a decision to change. Feeling heartbroken at what I let my body become Feeling frustrated with myself Feeling like I just didn't deserve anything or was worth anything ... It took hearing words from a stranger shoot like an arrow right through me to show me that I was worth being happy. This journey for me and for so many started with wanting to lose weight, to drop 20 lbs to see that number go down on the scale. But it became much more then that Seeing what my body was capable of if I just tried harder. Seeing that eating more food was not the catalyst to my weight gain Surrounding myself with positively strong minded people That is what made me change. The girl on the left was broken The girl on the right is mending Isn't it time you do the same with a little help from your friend?!

What if we listened to those naysayers? to those that say that oh you shouldn't it's too hard. to those that say you should be ok with comfort to those that say "pfft, thats crazy, you would never catch me doing that!"... If I listened to those that told me to find the comfortable route, I would possibly be stuck in a body, a job and mindset, a version of me that I did not like. If I listened, I wouldn't have pushed myself to run half marathons, to finish duathlons. My kids know that this lifestyle is normal My kids know that being healthy is not selfish If I listened, I would not know the people I do, the community I love. Isn't it time for you to stop listening to the naysayers!?

If you feel like giving up I just want to tell you that it is never too late! Never too late to get back to healthy... Or better yet to get the healthiest you have ever been! Please note that I did NOT say the skinniest you have ever And not just healthy body-but healthy mind body and soul!!!!! I said the HEALTHIEST I am 45 and have not felt this much in control of my fitness, my nutrition and my mindset in over 20 years! And can I tell you???? YOU WANT THIS and I want it for you! My March group has already started and my group is seeing amazing results and FEEL incredible!!! How often do you avoid looking at yourself in the mirror beyond the fluffing of hair and putting on makeup? I mean standing stark naked in front of the mirror and looking. What do you see?... Do you see what age has done to your body? or Do you see the life you've lived? Do you see the scars and traces of weight gain and loss? or Do you see the stripes of a fighter? Do the words saggy, cellulite, jiggly, uuggghh are words that echo in your head? or the words of Strong, sexy, heck ya scream at you!!! isn't it time to find something that works? A holistic approach to how you fuel your body, how you move your body how you think of your body? Isn't time mama?

How many pics have you deleted or asked to delete because you don't like the angle or how you look ? Or because it shows a roll or a fold? How many? I know I have!! Too many too count... Too many that have been deleted because I didn't like the way I looked. How many memories have you erased yourself from because you weren't at the right weight? Or size? I thought of deleting that picture, but what I had to look past and see the joy. Joy trumps some ideal of what I should look like Joy trumps the memory I want to keep. Shouldn't your Joy trump your insecurities? Isn't it time to changeover your thoughts and jump into Joy? How are you showing up??
