October is dyslexia awareness month! Students with dyslexia need effective teaching methods. These students show great creativity, perseverance and determination, among their many abilities.

From my Occupational Therapy background, I fully believe this!

A nice, simple resource

This blog was written a couple of years ago but the advice is especially relevant in our current stressful and challenging times!

I love this graphic of how burnout creeps up on you! Parent, teacher, camp counsellor, employee, son/daughter, neighbour...the many roles all add up. Pay attention to possible burnout!

Some good advice to keep in mind...
