Learning Tree Childcare

On March 29th I sent a letter to the Village of Cache Creek about installing permanent signage on our street to indicate that children are in this area and that drivers are expected to slow down and abide by a safe speed. During the Mayor and Council meeting last evening, our proposal was brought to the table at minute 5:42 and 'carried' at minute 6:06. As a professional in the community providing an essential service, and being a mother myself, I am grateful that our street will be a safer place to nurture children. We look forward to working with the Village of Cache Creek in the future and are delighted and thankful to see a spiffy new sign on Semlin Drive!

The inspiration behind Learning Tree turned two today! Thanks to all our beautiful clients who have made her year extra special and gave her many ‘happy birthdays’ today!

We will be busy Wednesday and Friday mornings as we are welcoming a new face to Learning Tree. We are so excited to welcome a new member to the crew, and we must work together to ensure everything runs smoothly. Please refer to the poster for drop off and pick up protocols. Reminder: MASKS ARE A REQUIREMENT to enter the home. We will see your smiling faces soon!

We got so involved in our new outdoor learning space project, that I forgot to post our menu for this week! We follow the Canada Food Guide- providing variety by ensuring we target as many food groups as possible. If applicable, please discuss the menu with your child(ren), so that they know what to expect. Also, ensure you refer to the menu as to not duplicate any snacks in the lunches brought from home, children need variety to keep interest!

Learning Tree has spaces available! On April 19th a space in our under 2 program will become available. These spaces are highly sought after, connect with us today to determine if we are a good fit for your family! Currently our 4yr+ program has openings ranging from drop-in to full-time.
