Learning Tree Academy has a preschooler who is riding 25km this summer in support of SickKids Hospital. We are so proud of him, and would love to see the support of our community! Please follow the link to donate in support of Jordan! https://greatcyclechallenge.ca/Riders/JordanGolding
Wearing red for autism awareness and advocacy. Every child deserves the right for education, even with diverse abilities.

Happy Lunar New year from everyone here at Learning Tree Academy!
Miss. Aly saw this big guy this morning on her way into work! What did the fox say? Celtic lore says that if you see a fox, it symbolizes the immediate need to adapt, employ wisdom and cleverness, and think strategically and quickly... I think this fits perfectly with what is going on in the world!
You are all doing amazing, this is a new year with similar troubles as last. Remember to take a moment and breathe. You are walking through a new era, and there are resources to help. The Canadian Mental Health Association of Waterloo-Wellington has many resources for children, youth, parents/guardians, adults, seniors and caregivers, healthcare workers and educators. https://www.here4help.ca/Waterloo-Wellington We are all in this together
Thank you so much for donating this holiday season. Learning Tree Academy dropped off 4 boxes and 3 bags worth of toys and essential items last night. You have all made someone's holiday a little bit brighter
REMINDER: Kindergarten registration for Wellington County is open, we are sad to see our preschoolers leave but are excited to see them grow!
Make everyday a memory
Take a look at who came to say hi!

The children have been loving the snow!! They have been building and exploring it, seeing their smiles makes us feel a little bit warmer What is your favourite childhood memory about winter?
"The future of the world is in this classroom today" This is something everyone of our teachers believe in. The teachers at Learning Tree Academy celebrate everything from first word, steps, birthdays and even potty training! Having a great first start prepares children's for the future.
Est-ce que vous parlez français? Nos professeurs Mme Eryn et Mme Eliana le font et adorent enseigner de nouveaux mots à nos amis! Do you speak French? Our teachers Miss. Eryn and Mrs. Eliana do and love to teach our friends new words!
This is a great sensory activity with little mess! Post your little one doing it below
I think we were all feeling this way on Monday
Something silly for your Tuesday... Miss. Tina dressed up as a hotdog for Halloween last Friday and a preschooler comes in today very confused "Miss. Tina, why are you not wearing the hotdog suit? I had a hotdog for dinner but I said no because I didn't think it was fair to eat your baby" #thingschildrensay what is something your little one has said recently?
And just like that Halloween at Learning Tree Academy is over. Thank you to the wonderful teachers who stood outside handing out all of the goodies!
We’d like to say that we are proud of all our educators and their passion for children and learning! They’ve made such an impact on our transition of returning to the centre in bringing much love, joy and enthusiasm to the children. Happy ECE Appreciation Day!

It's been 212 days since we closed in March. We are so happy to be open and learning again! It's been 212 days since we closed in March. We are so happy to be open and learning again!
A deeper exploration. 2 of our friends noticed our little speaker would vibrate when music played. Miss. Eryn saw this and brought in her big speaker. This allowed for the children to get a bigger look at what was happening. They tried putting different materials on top to see if it moved, books, blankets, even a water bottle! It was interesting to see and feel the vibration of different music.
Learning Tree Academy's first bride! Congratulations Mrs. Maddie!!
