Have you ever been so upset at another driver ,you flipped them off ??? ( gave the middle finger ) Well by doing that gesture you may have Initiated a bit of road rage war. It is not illegal but it is unsafe.Road rage is just simple misunderstanding of communication between drivers. So giving someone the finger may mean something to you but something else to another. Allowing your self to become so upset at another motorist while driving will only distract your main intent...ion , which is to stay focus on driving. Think about it. What are the chances you will see this person again. Here are some tips if some one was to give you the finger. 1. Smile and Wave 2. Do Absolutely nothing ,avoid eye contact and stay focus on your driving 3. Apologize with a little wave and smile. Sometimes we have done something wrong and was unaware. 4. If driver gets violent , aways have an alternate route. If someone starts being crazy on the road, have an exit plan. Do not go home, a police station usually keeps them away. #drivesafe #keepyourfingersonthewheel

You can use a credit or debit card to pay outside by following the prompt but cash will require a trip inside to the cashier Choose the grade. 4. Choose the grade gas you desire. Premium , mid grade or regular. If you are unsure you can always check your vehicle manual and it will best advise you. Put the gas nozzle into the gas tank. 5. Pull up gas nozzle from hook . Driving with an injury ... The law states that you must be in good physical and mental condition to drive. Don't drive when you are sick or injured. If you were involved in an accident or stopped by the police who notices your injury , you may be asked to prove that you are/ were in full control of your vehicle. If an injury hinders you and you cannot drive a motor vehicle with control, a ticket may be issued followed by demerit points. ... If you have an injury and would like to get behind the wheel again.A Driver's Medical Examination or driving evaluation may be necessary depending on your injury, to ensure that you have the physical functions and cognitive skills to drive safely. How do you you say Thank you behind the wheel ??? There are many ways to do this, but the method varies by country, continent and driver. You should always drive as friendly as possible and remember that if you help another driver, someone may return the favor right back to you. A commonly used practice is to simply show your appreciation by waving the hand , simply get your left hand outside the window and raise it, Just like a medieval salute . It's that easy . Some people use a very short flash light signal with the 4 way flasher or even a thumbs up. It's extremely important to learn how to say Thank you while on the road and hopefully another driver may return the favor .

When you are turning right on a red light or after a stop sign into a cross walk, you can do what you normally do wait until the pedestrians have passed the front of your vehicle and proceed if it is safe to do so. At any intersection where you want to turn left or right, you must yield the right-of-way. If you are turning left, you must wait for approaching traffic to pass or turn and for pedestrians in or approaching your path to cross. If you are turning right, you must ...wait for pedestrians to cross if they are in or approaching your path . You should also check your blind spot for cyclists approaching from behind, particularly in a bike lane to your right, on a sidewalk or a trail. A yield sign means you must slow down or stop if necessary and yield the right-of-way to traffic in the intersection or on the intersecting road. Remember, signalling does not give you the right-of-way. You must make sure the way is clear.

Patrolling Guelph police noticed spinning lights around 8:30 PM in the parking lot of Bishop Macdonell High School on Clair Road, and approached to find a 17-year-old driver navigating their vehicle slalom-style around light posts while their friend hung out the window. One vehicle was observed doing doughnuts while a male passenger sat on the door ledge with his upper body outside the vehicle, police said in a release. Such activity in a publicly-accessible space is co...nsidered stunt driving in Ontario, even if it’s an empty parking lot. Police stopped the vehicle and handed its young driver a stunt driving ticket, a serious charge that automatically carries a 30-day license suspension and 14-day vehicle impound, not to a mention fine of up to $10,000 and untold insurance hike upon conviction. Consider this headline a Public Service Announcement for any teens currently killing time away from the classroom: school may have been suspended due to COVID, but the rules of the road and even parking lots have not. Here are some tips for you to have an awesome time on New Year’s Eve and come back safely if you hit the road: Stay In New Year’s Eve doesn’t have to be you out there with all the crazy people outside screaming their lungs out when you can have an amazing time inside. Host a party or if you plan on going to a friend’s party, then spend the night there. Alternately, you can also have your friends stay over at your place for their own safety as well. Most people pass out after ...drinking anyway, so it’s more likely they will stay over. If you are really close to your friend then bring in your extra pillow or blanket in advance so that you can sleep on the floor, sofa or anywhere you get comfortable. This will ensure that you don’t get involved in any road accidents and even protect you from other drunk drivers on the road. Call a Cab Service If you don’t have any plans of staying over and are too drunk to even hold the car keys properly then its best to just call a cab/taxi. Nowadays, you have everything at the tap of your smartphone, so you can easily call any Uber driver to come pick you up and drop you off at home. Alternately, you can do the same for your drunk friends and send them back safely to their home. Be the Designated Driver If you are out with your friends and know that you are the most responsible out of the whole bunch then it doesn’t hurt to be the designated driver. It doesn’t matter whose car it is, but as long as you are the sober one that can drive everyone (including yourself) safely back home then that is what matters at the end of the day. You have to wake up in the morning and feel the new year sunshine and that can only be possible if you drive safely the night before. Know When to Stop It’s hard to take a glass and stop especially when you are at a party. But limit your alcohol intake, so that you don’t end up passed out or do something to embarrass yourself in front of others. Your new year’s start should not be of embarrassing photos circulating around at a party or worse yet in a road accident in the news paper. As harsh as it sounds but drunk driving is no joke #DriveSober #drivesafe

Thefts and break-ins typically skyrocket during the holiday season because thieves know that many families leave their homes and cars unattended and sometimes even unlocked. 1. Valuables that are visible within a vehicle can be attractive to would-be burglars. Avoid leaving your purse, phone or any other expensive items in your vehicle. Also avoid leaving shopping bags or other luggage in your car, as they signal the presence of something new or valuable, even if they're empt...y or just hold some groceries. As an alternative, try leaving your belongings in the trunk of the car. If you have a cargo area in your truck or SUV, consider using a cargo cover, too. 2. Be sure to always lock the doors, roll up the windows 3. Consider removing most of your debit or credit cards from your purse or wallet prior to shopping. That way, if your wallet or purse is stolen, you will still have a form of payment available. 4. When parking your vehicle, take note of the surrounding area and people. Watch for suspicious activity or for anyone who may be following you. If possible, park in areas that are patrolled such as on city streets or mall parking lots, rather than on side streets 5. Having a visible GPS unit in your car may tempt a potential thief to break into your car. Even an empty GPS mounting device or suction marks on the windscreen can be enough to show a thief that there is something valuable in your car. 6. Make sure all your windows are rolled up before exiting the car and when locking your door with your remote make sure you listen for the confirmation sound 7. Never leave your keys in your vehicle, even if you're just running into a convenience store or another location for a minute or two. Second, be careful of where you keep your spare key. Storing your spare key on the outside or inside of your car can make it easy for thieves to steal your car. And thanks to the push-start features that new vehicles have, a thief wouldn't even have to find the key in the vehicle to drive away with it -- it would be enough that the key was there. 8. Have proper insurance in place A comprehensive auto Insurance Policy will ensure that if your car is stolen or damaged, you'll be compensated for your loss. Hundreds of thousands of people are victims of vehicle theft each year, and even more have their vehicles damaged or items stolen from their vehicles. Just a few simple precautionary measures can help deter thieves and protect your vehicle. #staysafe.

LearnSGS Tip Checking your oil on a regular basis is a key part of keeping your engine running well and getting the most kms out of it. The oil lubricates the engine's internal moving parts, keeping them from wearing too quickly. It also helps keep the engine from buildup. Source ( ABC insurance)
