I am getting a few questions regarding the Main Street Leduc members roundtable event tonight at 7:30pm and wanted to publicly post this... (if you are a Leduc ...Downtown Business and didn't see any emails or the event for this please reach out to me and I will make sure you get it). I am honoured to be part of putting this roundtable on. Our (the DBA board) goal for this roundtable is to hear from members of the DBA (businesses) about what is going on with them, how they are doing personally and in business, what are their struggles and if they have any ideas on what support they might need. Our Mayor Bob Young, some members of council, and representatives from The Leduc & Wetaskiwin Regional Chamber will also be on this call because we want to work together to help solve anything that is within our capability to do so; but we need to hear from businesses what their concerns and needs are right now. Some things we won't have answers for, but we will find them, some things are out of our control, but we can listen and come together in support no matter what. If you are a downtown Leduc business owner or manager I encourage you to reach out to engage tonight and be part of this discussion if you are able to do so. This evening we passed Leduc Budget 2021. Here are a few words from Mayor Bob Young: Nothing about 2020 has been easy, however city administration rose to meet our expectations to help us better support our citizens and community during this difficult time.
