Safari Troopers Ages 3 - 5 This two-hour program is provided under the supervision and guidance of our qualified leaders to provide a fun environment for socialization, craft-time, games, and songs. ... All participants must bring a nut free snack, water bottle, wear indoor shoes and be fully toilet-trained. November 23 December 14 Mondays 9:30 11:30 a.m. ___ Little Architects Ages 4 6 Does your little builder like to make towers and turn anything into a building tool? Each class we will discover, learn and experience different shapes, patterns and sequences in a hands-on learning atmosphere. We will be building using our hands and our imaginations! All participants must bring 1 nut free snack, water bottle, wear indoor shoes and be fully toilet-trained. November 24 December 15 Tuesdays 9:30 11:30 a.m. ___ Dino ROAR Ages 4 - 6 Send your little dino enthusiast on a weekly learning expedition. Each class we will dig into a different dinosaur by discovery learning, experiencing themed centers, and making a special craft too! By the end you will have little paleontologists ready to discover the next fossil in their backyard. There are still some spots available in the registered group fitness classes being offered in the final set of the Fall Session. REARS & GEARS Get ready for a lower body blast! This combination class will incorporate varied indoor cycling drills on our Keiser M3i spin bikes along with barre-inspired movements.... November 23 December 14 Mondays 7 8 p.m. ___ FITNESS AT THE BARRE Join us at the barre for this total body strength class that is low on impact but high on muscle recruitment! This challenging sculpting class will build strength and flexibility in a new way! No dance background needed. November 25 December 16 Wednesdays 9:30 10:30 a.m. ___ LIFT. REST. REPEAT. This class focused solely on strength requires previous experience lifting and is intended for those who are at an intermediate level. Not only will participants build muscular strength and endurance, but they will also broaden their knowledge of strength exercises and resistance training. We are excited to be offering Lacrosse as part of the drop-in leisure activities at the LRC starting November 1. Sundays | 1 - 2 p.m. Maximum 8 people per net, 6 nets in total Full equipment is required... This drop in opportunity allows participants to work on their lacrosse skills; passing between cohorts, ball control, and shooting on net. Full equipment is required to participate in this drop-in opportunity, and must be provided by the participants. This activity can accommodate your family/group cohort up to a maximum of 8 people per net. Equipment requirements: CSA certified helmet, full face mask, and shoulder pads. For mountain bikers, road cyclists or those serious about intense cardio training. Want to keep your kids busy during the holiday break? Check out the Winter Day Camps being offered at the LRC for ages 6 12. Starting December 21 & ending December 30. 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m.... $47.25 per person per day These themed day camps are sure to be snow much fun! Each day will include games, crafts, and activities that involve the theme of the day and if the weather cooperates we will head outside too. We will be swimming each afternoon so pack your swimming gear everyday.
