Attention current Rotman students and alumni! We're proud to announce that a new course (RSM 2700H: Impact Investing) has just been approved for 2019-20. Taught by the Lee-Chin Institute's Rod Lohin, this course is ideal for 2nd year and above MBA students with an interest in finance and how early stage venture capital can help companies with a social and/or environment purpose. RSM2700 is a deep dive into early-stage impact investing offered in coordination with Wharton’s MB...A Impact Investing & Network Training program (MIINT). Delivered through lectures, visits from working professionals, online content, and an experiential, team-based project to source, analyze and pitch a promising startup venture, the course culminates in a pitch competition at Rotman co-hosted with Rotman Net Impact, and the top team will proceed to the global finals at Wharton next April in pursuit of a US$50,000 investment prize. Please feel free to share with your networks and contact Rotman if you have any questions!
