The Leeds and Grenville Insurance Brokers Association has made a generous donation to the Brockville Police Service. Members of the LGIBA presented this sign t...o the police with the intention of keeping our city streets safer. This state of the art sign will be used as another education and enforcement tool to ensure the drivers, pedestrians and cyclists in our community are safe. In the photo from L-R are Constable April Muldoon, Constable Greg Francis and LGIBA members Stephanie Coutlee and Brian Purcell. Please visit www.lgiba.com for a full list of local associate members. This is another great example of community partners working together for a safe and strong community!"

The person who goes into the office in the morning, goes home and does nothing else I dont think benefits the same as somebody involved who gets to know the community and people recognize who they are in the community. Brian Purcell, incoming IBAO President. Read the interview with Canadian Underwriter. Well said, Brian!
We all need to be more attentive and vigilant when driving now that school has started.
"Treasure Day" Free item exchange will take place Saturday, September 23, 2017. Are you searching for that special something or wishing to get rid of an item ...you no longer need? Treasure Exchange Day is a great opportunity to exchange reusable household items, such as furniture, appliances, and toys - for free! Participating in this community re-use event is easy, just follow these simple tips: -Clearly label items you wish to give away as "FREE" and place them at the curb. -Prevent misunderstandings by ensuring items such as childrens bikes, toys, and gardening tools are not accidentally left near the curb. -Tour your neighbourhood to see what great deals you can find at the curb. -At the end of the day, remove items that were not picked up from your curb. -All leftover items must be removed from the curb by 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2017.
