Like ALL Community Leagues, we are anxiously waiting for the government to allow us to open our doors again so that we can run our events and programs and open our hall for Rentals again! The financial burden put on Community Leagues has been overwhelming!

Important Safety Survey! The Leefield Community League wishes you the best this winter season. In collaboration with REACH Edmonton, we have created a survey to help us explore how the Community League might work towards making Leefield a safer, more active community. The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes and by completing it you are entered to win a $300 IKEA gift card. The winner will be announced once 300 survey responses have been collected so please share this with your Leefield community! SURVEY LINK: https://forms.gle/WundnoYqYDqQ6f7i7

Snow Removal: The City is improving how they clear snow in your neighbourhood and is introducing a new two-phase parking ban, starting winter 2020. Visit edmonton.ca/safetravels to sign up for email alerts, learn more about the new ban, and find out if your street is included in Phase 1 or Phase 2. You can also check out the common questions about the ban on the "Winter Roads Frequently Asked Questions" page. And remember, for crews to clear streets quickly and safely, vehicles need to be off the street during major snow events so be prepared for parking bans by making your parking plan before the first snowfall!
