Saskatchewan sunsets shine
We are on the verge of seeing this crazy year to the curb. It’s left us with weird feelings and jumbled routines, and also an appreciation for what’s most important, I hope. Please enjoy this little summary of my photographic year.
Through The Trees; A Staring Contest Animal camouflage is amazing; there were three other deer with this one just out of frame, but all I saw was this one, watching me watching it.
So I hear it’s International Mountain Day? I thought I’d show the love my way, with a photo from January of this year when we went to Canmore. I’m so glad we got to squeak that visit in before the world went haywire. We kind of just stuck our finger in the air to pick our direction and drove til we found something interesting. There was a time I thought I’d be a park ranger out there, in the wild. Not sure I was ever in any danger of that actually happening but it’s fun to imagine what that kind of life would have been like.
I just loved this moose..and look! There's a cow moose with him in the first photo. We had driven several hours in the weirdest snow and cloud conditions, and were on our way home when we spotted these moose. His antlers seemed like a crown to me, and his bell like a warrior's braided beard.
