Leeward Standard Poodles

NOVEMBER 2ND ELLA DELIVERED HER FIRST LITTER! Six pups. Four boys - an apricot, a black, a white and a little brown, and two girls - both cream. Must be a Cov...id thing - 63 names on our waiting list! Seems everyone wants a puppy. We don't take deposits. Last thing we want is for someone to feel they HAVE to take a puppy because they have money down! Instead, we like to get to know our prospective owners and invovle the canine gods in making the right decision.

Luna is back home safe and sound. She spent a couple of years down the south shore but took a dislike to a dog down there and came back to us. She fits in like a glove, again, bonding with her wonderful son and companion, Ninja, and restored to her proper place - Queen of Indian Point. 8 years old now, we would love to rehome her if anyone is interested, but in the meantime, she is here, happy, and as always, outrageously intelligent.

Just tarted up Costa. What a looker! (The third picture is a few weeks ago.)

Priceless pix arrived today from new owner of litter mate of the two available black pups. She writes, "We had another great night. He is just perfect. I am so happy to be a part of the Leeward Poodles family."

People ask me, isn't it hard to let them go? And I reply, no, because you are giving them this incredible gift. Comments coming in now thick and fast from the current litter's new owners. Things like, "...you made a big mistake. You let me take the perfect puppy!" Or "I couldn't be happier!!" The happiness our pups bring makes it all so worthwhile.
