watching this, I start thinking I agree with the deputy PM.. Trumps tariffs are "Ludicrous, unnecessary, unwarranted and entirely unacceptable" and also completely agree with her when she says this will harm their own people. but what is really ludicrous is her saying she will impose tariffs herself.. right after admitting they hurt the people in the country that imposes them!! so basically.. Trump is hurting Americans, so let's hurt ourselves back!?!?... Ludicrous indeed!

This is awesome. With so many people posting lies on FB about masks, and fighting against masks in the name of freedom while using those lies, this was nice to see. I am all for freedom. We should be free to do whatever we want as long as we are not infringing on other people's freedoms. I also believe in the freedom to be healthy and not be harmed. I believe in the freedom to live. I believe in the freedom to be safe from others who may not know any better because of all t...he lies going around. If people want to protest and debate about this in the name freedom I'll for it. I also don't think we should be forced to wear masks all the time nor in every situation. But... let's at least get away from all the pseudo-science and conspiracy theories about masks when arguing for our freedoms.

I love the important points Michael Shermer makes in the introduction. - no one should be silenced. - we should listen to everyone... - not all conspiracy theories are wrong "the reason we need free speech is because most of us are wrong much of the time, so the only way to find out is to listen to what other people have to say" In the first 15 minutes it's explained why the conspiracy theories made sense. when it comes to believing a news story: I don't care whether the media outlets are left wing or right wing. People who do will decide what is right based on who says it, rather than what is actually being said and the data that backs it up.... People who do will dismiss data not because it is wrong, but because it was not said by someone with their political leaning. People who do will believe in the data not because it is right, but because it was said by someone of their political leaning. The truth of something doesn't depend on politics; it depends on what actually conforms to reality. So PLEASE stop thinking something is not trustworthy SOLELY because of the political orientations of the publisher.
