September, 2012 I was driving down Highway 99 - one of my favourite spots - when I noticed something odd on the road. As I got closer, I saw the hawk pictured here (who has since been affectionately named Hank) sitting in the middle of the road. He is a first year Red-tailed hawk. Unsure as to whether or not he was injured, and not knowing who I could call, I was left feeling a little helpless. Fortunately for Hank, it seems he may have just tired himself out, and he took o...ff a short while later.
