Shadow boxing in front of the mirror is a great way to pin point mistakes in your technique. Strive to perfect all the little details and keep refining those basic movements. Simple shadow boxing rounds can be quite a workout if you throw your technique with intent! Here is a list of 10 basic yet very effective combos, used even at the highest level. 1. Jab, rear swing kick... 2. Cross, hook, cross, skip, lead swing kick (alt. jab, cross, lead swing kick) 3. Cross, lead hook, rear knee 4. Jab, cross, skip, lead knee 5. Right swing kick, lead push kick 6. Jab, cross, step in, rear side elbow 7. Jab, cross, hook, rear low kick 8. Jab, lead hook, rear low kick 9. Rear low kick, lead swing kick 10. Before COVID, this youth team member was preparing to make his competitive debut. These days, now full of protocols and procedures, Sasha has been nothing but an exemplary student. Although the competition scene has not yet made its way back to see him hit the ring swinging, he continues to come to class and put his best self forward. He always listens, tries his hardest, is improving every day, and has become an outstanding model of what it means to be a youth fighter. Rumor has it that @alamveer_singh turned down an NBA contract so that he can pursue his dream as a Martial Artist.
