The importance of networking: In each and every field, contacts can lead you to immense opportunities. The hard part is creating these new contacts. Networking is a good way to try to reach out to new people and building quality relationships, so here are 5 tips to consider in any networking event. 1. Be a conversation starter: Being aware and attentive to small details helps a lot to start a conversation. Whether you eavesdrop a bit and enter a conversation or whether you ...pay attention to the clothes and brands a person is wearing, there are plenty of ways to start a conversation and get the ball rolling. For a person that is a bit more famous, doing simple researches and complimenting one of their recent achievements is a way to introduce yourself and show interest. 2. Show Interest and listen: Speaking of showing interest, always try to interest yourself genuinely into the person. If they tell you something about themselves, try to retain that information into your head and introduce it somewhere later in the conversation. This shows that, yet again, you are an attentive person and one that listens well (which are great qualities to have in any fields). 3. Talk more about them and less about you: This doesn’t mean to undermine yourself as a person, but in contrast it puts you in the mindset of actually wanting to know the person who is talking with you. After all, all great leaders know that you have to seek to understand first and then to be understood. 4. Remember their names: This is one of the most crucial information to retain in a first conversation. You wouldn’t want to live through the embarrassment of forgetting their names on your second meeting right? It might happen, and if it does be blunt about it. A good way to remember their names is to say their names 3 times in your first conversation with them. 5. Take their contact info: If you’re in business always try to have a business card on you and correctly edify yourself and what you do before handing it in. Or else, in our world that revolves around technology, you can always exchange social media ! 6. Extra tip: Dress well. Now you might be thinking that it is great to dress well for a first impression. Although it is very true, if you put yourself fancy, it also naturally boosts your overall confidence because you just look better. Legacy Media Agency hopes that you enjoyed this little post on networking. Please feel free to give us some feedback on what you think!

Giving back to others: Ever since our young age we always had people providing for us in some ways. Whether it would be your parents buying you your first laptop for university, your uncle buying a house with your aid because you are a real estate agent or your grandma offering you socks for Christmas. Some of us lived good lives and others had it more rough. This is why our founder and member of the team , Abu, insists us often to first take control of our own lives both fin...ancially and emotionally and then give back to others when we are settled in those ways. This picture shows not only partners of the Legacy Media Agency Team but also the sponsors of the fundraising soccer tournament of the SAM ( Sports , Art, Music) foundation making a donation for the cause of the foundation.
