.....and so ends another year. Our soft ice cream has now gone through the last of its product and had it’s final cleaning. Thanks to all our patrons this past summer. At 10:52 on Monday October 12 2020, He was wearing a hi vis black and yellow coat, dark pants, black shoes with a white trim (flat soles), a black hat with a red brim and red RDS logo on it a surgical mask with a hole and was seen running south east on 108 ave.

For those of you who are night owls, you may have noticed a slightly different look at the front of our building. We want to give a shout out to Dave @ All-West Glass and Jack/George from Get Wired for making this look clean and professional. Many thanks guys - the shutters look great.

It is with some trepidation and cautious excitement that we are announcing our open season for our soft ice cream. Some of you may know this already, as we worked through a soft opening to iron out some of kinks this past weekend and we thank you for your patient support. Health rules and guidelines around the COVID-19 virus are constantly changing and have presented us with a number of challenges to ensure the health and safety of both our customers as well as our staf...f. Firstly, and probably most impactful, is our decision NOT to sell ice cream cones at this time. Given the layout of our facility, there was just no way we were comfortable delivering ice cream in cones. As such, our awesome ice cream will only be available in cups. Additionally, to minimize contact during the transaction, payment is now required before the product is poured (this includes the delivery of Slushy, Ice Cream and Northern Screamers). Although our store supports family values and activities, we would encourage families to reduce the number of family members that enter the building at the same time to help with social distancing efforts. I know it can be exciting to grab that ice cream together, it can be a wonderful experience, sometimes our little store can be quite busy which makes social distancing difficult. Thank you for doing your part and respecting those around you. Like so many other stores are encouraging we ask that you are patient with our staff. Normally ice cream sales is pure chaos for us, and this year we expect to be faced with new challenges such as staff having to abide by social distancing regulations that may or may not be permanent in nature. As we all learn together, we thank you for your continued support and feedback as it only improves us with our efforts to deliver an excellent customer experience. We all hope you have a fantastic summer.

August 3. We are open 10am to 10pm today.

June 22. For the moment, we are only offering vanilla ice cream until our ice cream machine is serviced. So no chocolate at this time. We will let you know once the ice cream repair guy has repaired and serviced our machine. Thank you for your patience.

Road construction is happening on 108 th and 17 th street this afternoon. There are traffic controllers at all intersections so please go slowly follow their directions to access the parking lot!

It took us a while to connect but we were finally able to hook up with Laurie Wilson from INS and we were delighted to present her with a cheque from those of you who supported our Anti Bullying Fundraising initiative at the various Legacy locations. Many thanks all!

Our debit machine is not working. A new one has been ordered. Unfortunately until we get our new debit in the mail the only option we have an ATM on site. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Please be patient with us as we work through this as best we can. If anyone wants to see an ironic side to all of this.... Monaris confirmed tonight that businesses that are having this problem have been sanitizing regularly through Covid 19.

.....and we are live. We have now installed a couple wireless charging stations. These stations use Qi technology which most new phones support. You're out of luck if you have an old phone like mine!

There are some days where you just gotta get sh!t out of your system. Today was one of those days. Our sign was todays victim. 10 years in it was time. And it felt good. Look for something new within a month.

The team at Legacy Village Market would like to thank all those who participated in helping both ourselves and the lady whos truck was stolen bring this chase to a close. As well we would like to thank the RCMP in the various communities with their collaborative efforts. It has been an intense day for all but closure is good for all involved. Many thanks once again.

Part Time Positions Legacy Village Market is looking to fill a number of Part Time evening and weekend retail shifts.
