Hello This is Melissa, Telling her story, why she became an Online Business Owner: Hello! I'm Melissa Tan.... Originally from Malaysia but currently living and working full time in Singapore for the past 10 years. When I was younger, I witnessed my parents sacrificing their time and passion just for us kids so that we could have a better life and education. My dad had to work overseas for most of my teenage years just so he could put my brother and I through university. I hardly saw my dad during those times and mom worked really hard to play the role as mom AND a dad to ensure that all our needs were met. Fast forward, here I am in Singapore hoping to provide a better future for my own kids. Unfortunately, I began to see history starting to repeat itself. With 3 young kids and with the marginal yearly salary increment, it was not sufficient to beat the ever increasing cost of living. It was then my husband decided to work overseas for a year. My life turned upside down during those times. I tried looking for various other opportunities and part time gigs just so my family do not need to go through the same hardship ever again. After searching for so long, I finally came across this business and I'm ever so grateful for all the support, flexibility and potential that is yet be unleashed! I'm so excited for journey that I've embarked on. Mel
