Spring Adult & Youth Leagues are wrapping up at the end of June. Registration for Teams and Individuals for the Summer session starting early July is open now... You have helped create a first class beach volleyball facility for Caledon!!

Posts are set for the 3 new courts! Thanks to Jody L for his extra pair of hands today! If your knees ever give out for volleyball you can have a second career plumbing posts...that's leveling in a vertical direction for all you non construction folks. Thanks to United Lumber Home Hardware for donating the 6x6 posts and all the other wood we needed and thanks to James Dick Concrete for donating the cement. Both were involved when we did the original courts in 1994 as well!!

Every 23 years or so, it's time to build a beach volleyball court. We started construction on the 3rd court at Dick's Dam Park yesterday. So strange taking out bolts that I put in 23 years ago!! Shaun Carlyon from J-Rock Landscape & Construction generously donated his time and equipment to dig us out this time...Thanks to Kim too!! He took out the middle strip of green between the 2 original courts and extended us by 20 feet on each end. The new set up will be one big beach area with 3 courts. I'll be down there setting the new posts today...

Registration for Leisure King Spring Beach Volleyball opens soon!! Leagues for Recreational Co-ed 6's, Competitive Co-ed 4's and Competitive Youth 2's start the week of May 30th. Get your team together or register as an individual and we'll put you on a team that suits you...looking forward to a great season on the beach!!
