Our Living Room I would have to say my favourite two things about this room would be the wood burning fireplace and my desk away from the studio. What makes a home really stand out is adding in custom trim work and rustic wood accents. When we started our renovations in our new house I really wanted to add elements of warmth and a flow from space to space. I called up one of my fabulous partners in crime, Steve at Vintage Ideas and together we came up with some amazing ideas and looks. Here’s another DIY project I did last weekend! I had bought the paint back in November from Dini’s and finally had a chance to put it to good use. This is it every sentimental piece to me as it was my Nanas and I used to sit at it as a little girl. This was his second makeover since it was left to me. I’m very happy with the way that it turned out and I think my Nana would be to The Annie Sloan paint I used was amazing!!
