The office is currently OPEN with updated COVID-19 safety protocols (hours below). We are doing our best to serve you this tax season during the virus pandemic on top of aiding you and our other clients with the new Canada Emergency relief programs. Please do not delay in filing your return to ensure uninterrupted benefit payments, (GST credit, Ontario Trillium Benefits, Canada Child Benefit, etc). We ask for your support by continuing to drop off your tax information like an...y typical tax year. Pick-ups are by appointment only. Completed returns can also be sent via Encrypted Email. We ask you to please use your discretion before attending our office if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or have traveled out of country in the last 14 days. Please reschedule your meeting or setup a phone consultation if you develop any symptoms any time prior to your appointment. During this time, we will be limiting our meeting times and not shaking hands. We are asking one family (up to two family members) in the office at a time. Our staff has also been instructed to disinfect the desks, telephones, debit machine and door handles on a regular basis. Hand sanitizer is available at every desk. Personal and Small Business Tax Returns Extended Penalty/Interest Relief Deadline: Sept. 1, 2020 Federal Government's COVID-19 Economic Response Plan updated May 22, 2020: Penalties and interest will not be charged if payments are made by September 1, 2020. This includes the late-filing penalty as long as the return is filed by September 1, 2020. After 134 consecutive working days, the office is closed for the Canada Day long weekend in order for our staff to enjoy a well deserved break. The office will reopen on Monday, July 6th.
