Next Sunday, September 13, my daughter Rachel and myself will be running for Roots. Rachel and I have been running together, often with her brother Ben, 10k runs since she was a pre-teen. But this one event is a very special run. Please take a minute to find out what it stands for, and about Roots. Consider running yourself (it's just 8.7k, and you can walk it, too!) and/or donating - any amount helps in this very important cause. Friends of Roots

So excited and honoured to be included in this wonderful group of artists. We invite you to share with us a bit of your Canada Day, or your Wednesday (6pm in the Czech Republic) with an all-Canadian Yiddish program hosted by Polina Shepherd and Efim Cherny as part of the Yiddish Song: Step Forverts series, and co-presented by Ashkenaz with Eric Stein. To view in Canada: tune in at noon ET. See you soon!
