Hello Friends - just a little reminder that the Silent Auction will be closing at 3pm sharp today! Thank you for your support towards this project. We will be in touch with each person who has "won" an item(s) to provide instructions for payment, pick-up/delivery this week :)

On this evening, many of us would have been very busy setting up our sales tables, silent auction, counting cutlery, bringing our cooked turkeys and baking to t...he Lennoxville United Church for what would have been the Annual Christmas Bazaar and Turkey Supper tomorrow. Despite the Bazaar being cancelled for this year, the United Church Women (UCW) group has decided to go forth and be creative :) We are in the midst of setting up our online Silent Auction that will be launched next weekend via the Lennoxville United Church Facebook page. We will have less items but are excited about the items that we will be listing. The Silent Auction will run for 2 weeks to enable our friends to share across facebook and to give people ample time to bid. Please stay tuned and watch for this :) Enjoy your weekend ! See more

HUGS for the Homeless It is that time of year againhelp us spread the word! Mental Health Estrie is gearing up for its annual winter campaign which will ru...n from November 2020 to March 2021. We are accepting NEW Hats, Underwear, Gloves, Socks, and Scarves and other warm items of clothing which will be donated to the homeless shelter in Sherbrooke. Also, items received before mid-December will be packaged into gift bags for the holiday season and distributed by the shelter. This year, the shelter, mentioned a particular need for NEW warm socks. Please keep in mind that the greatest need is for men. Gifts can be dropped off at our NEW ADDRESS, 3355 College, Sherbrooke (borough of Lennoxville). On the left side of the building, next to door #9, look for the tall black bin with the HUGS poster. Or call 819-565-3777 to set up an appointment. We have already begun to receive some items this year and are once again so pleased to see the community come together for this very important cause. Thank you for your continued support!
