A quick proof of concept video showing a DIY active breaking mosfet! Potential refinement of the prototype to come. Some of the terminology is a little simplified (eg the gate in a mosfet is not actualy moving) but I think it conveys the point.

I have some DIY active breaking mosfets in the works. The goal is to be able to provide my customers with a built in low profile low cost alternative to more expensive fets while delivering similar performance. The ultimate goal will be to produce a computerized system which will allow for round counting and reload procedures on light machine guns (to start). Stay tuned!
