Get the A5, skip the rest. It's definitely not cheap, but 150g is definitely a good portion per person (with accompaniments). We get asked how to cook Japanese A5 wagyu a lot. The short and simple answer is to not be intimidated as it's simpler than many think. First I will defrost if frozen 24-36 hours in the fridge or cook straight from the fridge. Preheat a cast iron or aluminum pan at medium high. I will drop the A5 in the pan without oil for 2.5-3 minutes each side enough to have a nice crust. Then I will let it rest for 10 minutes before cutting. I like to season with Kosher or Flake salt at the end. Serve and enjoy. Anything thicker than 1 inch I would reverse sear (see past post for recipe).
