I can hardly believe it! When I first stepped into this race people told me I had no chance of raising the $300,000 entrance fee. Fast forward to the final week of the campaign, and we have passed the TWO MILLION dollar fundraising mark.... I cant say thank you enough. Thank you for believing in a political outsider. For taking a chance on someone who simply wanted to represent the everyday Canadians who are often overlooked. You invested in building a movement of courage, compassion and common-sense. I am confident that you will see a return on your investment as we work together in building a united party. We have shocked the pundits, many in our own party, and Canadians right across the country who had forgotten what happens when you give the grassroots a real voice. We have built a movement that will continue to grow until we defeat the Liberals in the next election. No matter what happens, this Monday we will all get to work building a stronger and more united Conservative party.

We must make good financial, environmental and economic decisions today, because it affects future generations. We must also restore confidence in our parliamentary system by improving our ethical standards.
