LES.NET Activity Update It's been a while since we've posted and a lot has happened! Here's a summary of those happenings:... LES.NET YWG4 - AC/DC AC/DC, as we call it, is the Air Canada Data Centre at 355 Portage, the only Tier 3 Data Centre in Manitoba. It is home to Air Canada, Canadian Tire, and Manitoba eHealth, and a few others. We pulled fibre in from both sides of the building, deployed Copper and Fibre switching gear, and Wave Division Multiplexors. LES.NET YWG5 - MHT MHT at 360 Portage is one of Manitoba Hydro Telecoms facilities. MHT has an extensive fibre optic network that spans Manitoba. This site is now live with Copper and Fibre switching gear, and Wave Division Multiplexors as well. Summary of LES.NET Facilities: YWG1 - 130 Portage Avenue East. LES.NET H.Q. YWG2 - 294 Portage Avenue. LES.NET Co-Lo Facility. YWG3 - 167 Lombard, the Grain Exchange, home to MBIX. YWG4 - 355 Portage Avenue YWG5 - 360 Portage Avenue Layer 2, Layer 3, 1-Gig and 10-Gig wave services are available at any of these locations. Otherwise, we've increased the size of our Fibre Optic network this year by adding another 2.6 kilometers. This new route covers most of Graham Avenue, Main Street & Graham to Main Street and Broadway, and Main and Broadway up to Hargrave and Broadway.

Just fired up a new 1 Gigabit LES.NET customer!

This week we completed our fibre optic build into the Air Canada Data Centre at 355 portage with diverse east and west cables. Our switch is up an operational with a 20 Gigabit connection back to our main data centre.
