Less Plastic

#wearebabe team came out full force today with us to do a quick clean up around the campus to show support for the effort put forth by @globalcleanuprelay. The air pollution was horrendous today but we were determined to soldier on. We cut short the route due to the weather but we managed to collect 16.465kg of trash and estimated 10.065kg of recycables. We had a little talk after about recycling in Thailand and we will explore more of this in the future so we can have more information to pass on. Collectively, we can be loud enough to be heard. Plastic production is an issue, banning plastic is great not providing enough alternatives will not solve the problem. We need to keep pushing ourselves to make changes, to demand change to be made in shops, schools, corporations, government, etc. Start with a simple habit by refusing plastic as much as you could, bring reusable items with you. However small the actions are, it would lead to making more of a difference in the world as you have the power to influence others. It starts with you!
