Fr. Bob Holmes is over 80 years of age. I know him personally. He works for Peace on the Christian Peacemakers Teams. This YouTube video was posted yesterday, 1st Feb 2021 "As a key member of the Christian Peacemaker Team, Father Bob Holmes visits Israel/Palestine frequently and almost every year takes a number of Canadians with him. They visit and support local Jewish, Bedouin, and Muslim peacemakers. Some really encouraging news and a milestone: https://www.icanw.org/historic_milestone_un_treaty_on_the_p While this Treaty becomes lnternational law on 22nd January 2021, the work towards further nations ratifying the Treaty remains to be done. Major players are now bound by this Treaty but have not ratified it themselves and will likely only be dragged into it kicking and screaming. What is impressive is that the issue has gained sufficient attention that those who would suffer the most have found their voices and they are not alone. Peace is hard work which there is no shortage of.
