Choose from our classic 6 km or 10 km distances or challenge yourself to accomplish higher mileage (all distances can be run anywhere): run either 0.01% of the distance to the moon (38.44 km) or to the moon and back (76.88km) between March 20-28th We’re living in crazy times... so along with offering these crazy new distances, we’ve also released our sweatshirt design early! ... You’ll be able to pick up race bibs, shirts, age group medals and door prizes. You can pick up for yourself and for others. To help facilitate physical distancing measures we will have in place, please send just one person to pick up for as many people as you can! To our out-of-town participants: Unfortunately we aren’t able to mail shirts or bibs. Your shirts and bibs can be collected at package pickup by others you may know. Otherwise, they will be available for pick up at Runner’s Soul from June 6 onward. Good news! Moonlight Run Group Shirt and Bib Number (Race Package) Pickup is open starting today, Thursday, May 14. One person can pick up race packages (bibs and shirts) for five or more people. How to organize a group pick up:... One participant will email [email protected] with their first and last names, and the first and last names of at least 4 other participants they will be picking up for Shirts and bibs will be assembled by a small team of volunteers. You will receive a confirmation email when the packages are ready for pickup at Runner's Soul Please wait until you receive the confirmation email before heading to Runner’s Soul for pickup - your package will not be ready before you get an email Individual race package pickup will occur in early June but the dates, time, and location are still being finalized. The Albertans Helping Albertans Virtual 5K is a province-wide fundraiser taking place throughout the month of May. The event will raise funds for all 17 cancer ...centres across the province by encouraging participants to individually walk or run a minimum of five kilometres in support of the cancer centre in their area, including the Jack Ady Cancer Centre in Lethbridge. The medals are available for pickup now at Runner's Soul. The store hours are currently noon to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Important Update Re: Covid-19 and the Moonlight Run In light of today’s announcement by the Alberta government, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Moonlight Run, which was to be held on March 21. We know the Moonlight Run is an event that people look forward to year-round, but the health and safety of our participants, volunteers and community must come first. All registered participants and volunteers can expect an email early next week with further details.
