Teachers Needed For: Guitar, Voice, Piano, Drums, Violin, Bass, Ukulele You'll be responsible for preparing weekly individualized lessons to students of varying skill levels and ages (We bring in students from 4 years old to 80+). Must have several years of playing experience.... A formal music degree may not be necessary Patient, flexible, and able to help students ENJOY the process! Must be well-rounded musically. Comfortable teaching most genres (especially pop) and up to an intermediate level. Must be great with people, especially kids. Must be comfortable operating Zoom for online lessons You will not be in charge of rebooking lessons, payments, or other administrative duties, but some customer service is needed in interactions with parents, and within the lessons themselves. We are looking for high energy individuals, with a flexible teaching style to accommodate different students, learning styles, and teaching methods. A criminal record and vulnerable sector check is not needed to interview, but a current copy of each check is needed before starting work. Most importantly you must have a passion for music, and a desire to share that passion with others. This is a great job for those who already have full-time commitments (parenting, school, other work, etc.) and are looking to exercise their passion in their off-hours. We are always looking for new teachers to fill-in in teaching and subbing capacities. Flexible hours to your schedule (we're open from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM) although most students come through after school and work hours. If you'd like daytime availability, it would be very rewarding, but a slow build. For those interested in making a career out of music education, there are possibilities of building up to a full-time schedule as time goes on with us.
