It's official, folks... After 3 months of community volunteer patrols, we are now part of the Bear Clan family! Thank you to all the community volunteers who have made this happen. A special shout out to the Bear Clan Patrols from the North End and West Broadway who joined us on our walk on March 17, 2020. Special thanks also to Charlee's Restaurant and Lounge for their hospitality. Please watch this page for changes in the near future. We look forward to seeing more community members join us on our next walk this Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 6-9 pm. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Due to the inordinate amount of volunteers reporting in sick, this evenings's patrol has been cancelled. What a night! A special thank you to the March 10, 2020 crew for patrolling 8.15 kilometers of icy and water-covered icy back lanes and front streets in the Chalmers and Glen Elm neighbourhoods. You folks are amazing!! A special thanks to the staff at Charlee's Restaurant and Lounge for the warm place to rest and the outstanding hospitality. We really value your continued support. A great big thank you to the March 7, 2020 crew who came out and patrolled 6.7 kilometers of slushy, wet and slippery back lanes and front streets throughout the Chalmers neighbourhood.
