What's on my mind? Today is June 30th! It’s the middle of the year, and what a year it has been! We can choose to reflect on the past 6 months with despondency, or conduct a mid-year check up and reflect on how far we have come.... Over the past few years, I have been hosting events where a group of us women meet for fun, but also to discuss our Vision for the year ahead. (The attached image shows current and past participants). This year's theme is Let’s GROW and it took the form of a Sip & Paint 'mini retreat'. I threw out an idea to write a book based on the theme. The intent was (and still is) to chronicle stories that will encourage, inspire, and motivate women. It would also be something of a tribute or legacy to the new decade. Well, look what 2020 has brought! And while many are coping with a variety of situations, the year is giving us an opportunity to be creative, find inspiration & GROW! Now, 20 of us have teamed up to co-author this book. We'll flip the Vision to an Achievement Board* that answers: What have you DONE? What are you most proud of? What have you OVERCOME?
