BOUTIQUE GIFT GALLERY 2021 As a not-for-profit public art gallery WCA mandate is to promote artworks of Canadian and International artists and artisans while hi...ghlighting Manitobans. The Member's Gift Boutique is unique in Wasagaming as only work that is hand crafted work is selected to be included. We continue to welcome creators of a greater variety of items including pottery, fiber arts, jewellery, garments both fabric & knit/crochet, bags, handmade soaps and lotions, candles, leather goods, woodworking, photography, painting, drawing, printmaking, etc. Wasagaming Community Arts is open from May to September each year and is situated in Riding Mountain National Park at 110 Wasagaming Drive. Artists and artisans who are new to WCA are invited to submit entries of their recent work for inclusion in the Boutique Gallery in Wasagaming, Manitoba. Returning artists and artisans are asked to update their portfolio and contact information while indicating their intention to be considered for representation at WCA in 2021. THE SUBMISSIONS PACKAGE IS EXPECTED TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1. Contact information including name, email, cel, land line, mailing address 2. A recent biography/Artist statement 3. Images representative of the works to be included, sent by regular mail (jump drive, etc.), or email. Documents and images should be in standard, commonly used formats, for example, JPEG 4. A listing of works, including titles, medium used, sizes, and dates Submissions to the jury may be made for individual and group pieces. Questions??? Thank you to Deloraine Boundary Co-op grocery store for picking my name for the Valentines draw. A dozen red roses were also included in the prize. I am not fond of roses so hubby bought me a different flower bouquet that I arranged in the third picture. Looking after the grandchildren and the youngest asked me to make a poncho for her friends birthday party. So on Friday we went shopping for fabric. This what she picked. Here is a picture of my granddaugth modeling the poncho. Also got the binding on one of my UFOs.
