Congratulations Carrie! A clean sheet says it all!
Oh my wonderful friend and student past and present Ash. What a proud driver mama I am with you. First that whole L to an N thing happened and you found your freedom. Lots and lots and even more lots of experience on the road was gained. And finally you came back once more for some Mama Pam wisdoms and got ready for today. To hear that the examiner said he couldn't even think of anything he needed to talk to you about after the test means you have t hgt e wisdom of safe driving right there inside of you. Love you lots Mama Pam
So happy to hear that you were successful on your first road test Tara W. I am glad your dad got referred to me by The Folks at JIBC. It was a pleasure helping you get ready to ace the test.
All I can say is wow. The last while my good friend and fellow instructor Liv from Queen B Driving School collaborated and got our joint student Gabriella ready for her road test. She came to us with limited experience and a deadline due to her job as a frontline health care worker. All 3 of us worked so hard and yesterday she was given her Class 7 N license AND a completely clean road test sheet. Not one mark! Good work everyone.
So very proud of you Angelo P You did an awesome job on your road test today@ 999 Kingsway Vancouver Claim Centre. You showed that examiner just what a good conscientious driver looks like! Thanks so much for choosing me to teach you.
Big shout outs to three of my wonderful students who were successful this past week on their road tests. Way to go Carol M., Pavneet G. and Nirmal K. Welcome to the Safe Drivers Club.
Couldn't be prouder. We started from scratch in 2019 & despite Covid delays Shea M. aced her test today with a totally clean sheet
Last week I met up with two lovely seniors from South Africa for a lesson to help them prepare for their road tests which would be happening over in Victoria. They have been driving on the other side of the road for well over 50 years. It was interesting to see their confidence build as we progressed through the lesson. I am happy to congratulate them on successfully getting through in an unfamiliar city on the wrong side of the road for them. Congratulations to Marina and Johan Fick. Welcome to Canada
A day on the road with Lucas. We are practicing parking when all of a sudden a professional photographer appears and takes a few pics of us for posterity after this perfect reverse stall park.
Well done Tariq!
Way to go Tariq!!!!!
One of the biggest challenges for elder drivers is the prospect of facing an Enhanced Road Examination or ERA driver re-exam and being uncertain of what is expected on it. I have been working with Salli for some time as she prepared for her ERA exam. Then Covid hit and her March exam was cancelled. Thank goodness she had a learner license and a 90 year old licensed friend. She played Chauffeur for the last 4.5 months and really gained her confidence back. I am so inspired by her dedication to practicing her safe skills and building new habits. She went and did a most excellent job of her test this month. I am so happy for her and her future independence.
Sweetness of success! 11 years ago Andy Jamieson made a very bad mistake as an N driver. He stopped driving after until this last year. He needed to retest for his N because he let it lapse and asked to me to help.him get ready after all the years not driving. Oddly enough after the first lesson we realized that all those years back it had been me to teach him.driving originally. I was pleased to see that he had kept most of the good driving habits I had taught him and I was able to refresh and renew him to be an exceptional driver. He aced toda's test with only 2 little mistakes and is happily dancing over his new license. It was a real pleasure to help.you get your independance back.

For all of you co-pilots out there. A great read
Still happening for two more months if you meet the qualifications
At least this is being discussed. If your road test was cancelled get in touch so we can make a plan for rebooking and getting lessons sorted out ahead.
Need to write your learner license? Just announced today Knowledge testing by appointment starting June 1... Starting June 1, drivers can book a knowledge test for all driver’s licence classes. ICBC customers can book their knowledge test up to six weeks in advance by calling our Driver Licensing customer contact centre to leave a voice message for a call back. We are currently looking at alternate options for managing the knowledge test appointment booking process. We are not planning to increase the number of available daily bookings at this time; however, any increase will be determined by each ICBC driver licensing office as required, and only where appropriate physical distancing and safety measures allow. All knowledge test appointments will remain at 45 minutes per test. Customers may take multiple knowledge tests back to back, such as taking both a Class 7 and 8 knowledge test. Re-booking after a failed knowledge test Drivers who fail their knowledge test must re-book by phoning the Driver Licensing Customer Contact Centre in Victoria. The seven-day wait period between knowledge testing applies but it’s expected there may be a longer wait for a retest due to the current backlog. So all customers can take their knowledge test as soon as possible, only one booking will be allowed for the same knowledge test. Be sure to remind your students that they have a full 45 minutes to complete their test and to prepare for their re-test by thoroughly review the driving guides and taking the practice knowledge and sign tests. As we previously announced, Class 5-8 learner drivers whose learner’s licence expired on or after March 17 will have their knowledge test fee waived for their first attempt only.
